He has then spent the rest of the afternoon consuming aforementioned candy canes at an unprecedented rate. Apparently, he discovered, I actually bought the peppermint candy canes that he does like, which are somehow different then the peppermint candy canes that he doesn't.
thank friggin' heavens.

He is just cruising through the nasty peppermint ones so that you will have to go buy the delicious peppermint ones :)
love it! aren't kids their own for of funny?
Oh, poor mamma! Give him an extra hug from his Auntie (it's ok if it is a little harder hug than I would give ;) )
Love you!!!
Hee, hee. I have to laugh...ONLY because he IS NOT my kiddo. If he was, I would have had to check my blood pressure, cause it would have hit. the. roof. But, since I am the Auntie...there, there little Ez, go ahead and eat those icky, errr...I mean YUMMY candy canes. ;)
Too funny, although I'm sure it was frustrating at the time. I think Ian's done that once or twice. Kids, what can you do? :)
That is funny! Who knew candy canes would be the choice of little children everywhere.
OH my goodness, that is hilarious!! I love how you post about the little things that happen during the day! What a great way to remember day-to-day life!
He's going to be so glad you wrote this down someday when he's got particular kids of his own! :D So funny!!!
I have to say. I'm sort of on Ezra's side on this one. Not all peppermint candy canes are created equal. However, I wouldn't have eaten them either way.
so funny! By the way congrats on the fourth!! So fun!
Thank friggen heavens, indeed! :)
The "I'm a Mormon" button that I have? I got it from nieniedialogues.com
It is SUCH an inspiring site. I just took it from her site because it's wonderful. Anyway, read all about her. She was in a plane crash with her husband and they both survived. She has 80% of her body burned because of it. It's truly incredible.
Oh, man. I completely understand Ezra's panic over the candy canes. I can't count the number of times I've faced the horror of placing the wrong peppermint flavored candy cane in my mouth. There really is nothing worse. At the moment, at least. Though hooray! for actually buying the right ones. :)
HAHAHAHAHA - I needed a good laugh today and I can always depend on your children and your storytelling to provide that.
That kid is a GENIUS! His taste buds are so refined and developed! He is WISE beyond his years! Be proud !
PS I love the festive look of your blog, especially the snow falling from the top of the screen! Simply MAGICAL!
