...Oakie liked the cupcake!
So said Scarlett after generously sharing her black and white graduation cupcake.
This picture doesn't eeeeven begin to do the black bakery frosting mess justice. I keep on finding little spots of it scattered all over my light carpet.
this is Oak's "contrite" face
I'm honestly trying to find the humor in the situation (hence this post)...but I'm just not there yet.

Oh wow. Good luck getting that stain out of his pajamas, too. On the upside--how nice of Scarlett to share with her brother! :)
awww hopefully this will be one of those times that you can look back and laugh at...just tell her the story when she has kids and she'll be mortified that she survived doing that! :o)
Look at that sleeve. He's been working in a coal mine and probably has the black lung.
Oh. no. Poor Whitty. I hate when things like that happen. Jeannae's comment was hysterical though, for real. Cough, cough, I think I have the Black Lung, Pa.
What was Scarli doing with a graduation cupcake?? Maybe in May...oh, I guess there are university graduations in December... How random. Maybe this will be the gateway to new flooring?? :) Good luck w/ the mess though. Maybe something that takes out grease stains??
Love it! the kids are keeping us busy this time of year!
Wait, wait...I was signed is as Lib, but it was really my comment!! :)
How does one sign in as someone else... I sense something subterfugely sinister sneaky sister!
With that said, I love the last three posts. What a growing little sapling! Don't sweat the stains dear, Mimi will do that for you when she visits...
Enjoy this phase, it too shall pass.. As in, the burn marks in our carpet are now 8 years old since, wasn't it Mack who helped them get there... and I don't even notice them anymore. But then, I stopped noticing them within hours, your mom on the other hand... ;)
He looks like a little chimney sweep! lol! So sorry, ahem. Wish I had some useful tips, I just use oxiclean, but I don't know how it would stand up to this. Good luck!
From someone who has food squashed into her floors and carpet daily... I feel your pain.
