The End of an Era

Ezra informed me today that my kissing his skinned knee doesn't really make it feel better...

at least I still have two other little ones who know that
kisses cure what ails you

Oh no! He's not old enough for that. Or is he....?

How about a swift kick in the shins? I am sure that would put him back on the Kissing Bandwagon.

My little guy told me that magic isn't real. I thought that was kind of sad. It won't be long and he'll start figuring out the Santa thing. It's hard to see the magic of childhood slowly go away.

It's okay Whit. I've already taught him (accidentally, mind you) to spit properly. He's well on his way to becoming as awesome as his Uncle Jesse. Don't worry dear, I'm sure Spence will let you kiss his knee next time he gets an owie.

Ohhh, kinda makes me sad. He is such a practical little man. I hope he will keep believing in magic for a little while.

Love Zachary's comment. Here, here to kicks in the shins!!

Aww, how sad. Of course one of these days he will start thinking that kissing might really solve everything, and then you will really be in trouble.

Here, here to Aubrey's comment!
Leave it to Ez to let you know how silly you are. So practical. But, I'll take him practical, silly, sleepy, happy, crazy...any way he comes. I miss him and I can't wait to see his cutie little face.

Somehow your blog wasn't in my google reader and I've missed the past four or five posts! So sad. So glad I saw Kristin H. this weekend and she informed me of the new post. Yay for Milk! I remember when Madoc was throwing up like crazy and there were thoughts of milk allergies. I was so sad cause I knew everything you were going through and I selfishly did NOT want to do that. I do hope the boy got treated with a great big bowl of ice cream.

Tragic. Simply tragic. I'm dreading that day like crazy.

Well, at least he's still adorable.
