It's in the genes.

Ezra wore sandals (sans-socks) with his church pants today.  I had no say in this, obviously.
He came home from church and promptly changed into gray shorts and brown socks.

It gets worse.

He wore said socks with flip-flops.

Apparently the bad-clothes gene doesn't believe in skipping a generation...

Ewww, say it isn't so, say it isn't so!! We must have the most weak, little sick genes ever. Whoever thought Holyoak genes were strong are just kidding themselves. We have nearly 11 kids to show them otherwise. *sigh* Keep trying to influence them on the outside, Whit, maybe there is still hope for your little "X" chromosome offspring. (well, with the BIG kabosh Spence put on me, you're on your own, I suppose ;)

Hahaha Boys!... With my lucky Trevor will teach Holly to do the same and she will keep doing it just to hear me whine.

Hmmm...unfortunately Steph is correct that the Holyoak genes seem to be slow at showing themselves in our children. I guess absolute fabulousness should be doled out in small increments. I'm sure whatever genes we've passed on are the best ;). Kit sure loves his Sunday socks, as well. He would be oh-so-proud of his nephew and brother, I'm sure. Sigh...

Oh that's great. I am so glad you got pictures of it to keep for posterity's sake. Carlin also wears black socks with shorts, etc. Sigh.
