Our mighty little acorn

Goodness, this summer has been insane! I'm hoping to catch-up on here eventually, we'll see if that happens.  So, for the next while you'll be getting old stuff mixed in with new stuff.  Hopefully I'll be all caught up in time to start posting fall festivities :P  Anyway, enjoy!

On July 3rd, when Oak was almost a month old, we had his baby blessing.  It was short and sweet...kinda like him :)  We took some pictures in front of our old oak tree (how fitting is that?) after church.  We're all looking a little worse-for-wear as we had gone through rain and three hours of church, but c'est la vie.

 One big happy family!

 Team Testosterone

Team Estrogen

 Ahhhhh...

The picture (oddly) makes his face look unusually yellow.  I'm sure there's a way to fix that on photoshop, but I haven't figured that out yet :P  I'm posting it anyway because it give a full shot of his blessing outfit, which I adore (I seriously had it picked out months before he was actually born and bought it even though it was gobs too big for him).

Annnnd now we have some completely random shots for your viewing pleasure.

Here my sister is trying to prove to me that funny pictures can still be cute pictures...

I call this The Shirley Temple

I'm not convinced.

As an added bonus for making it to the end of the post, you get 2 whole FREE updated pictures of my youngest offspring.  yay! yay!

This is what Oak looks like at this. very. second. all 7 weeks, 3 days of him.

How cute is he?  I mean, really.

The End.

He is soooo adorable. That's the big grin he gave me a couple weeks ago! It's so cute! You know how to make them, Whitney. :)

What an adorable family you are!! I miss those sweet little ones. Ahhh, my heart melts when I see little Oak's smile. What a doll.
Seriously though...you weren't actually supposed to post those pictures... You, of course, look adorable. We weren't actually in good-crazy/cute-picture-taking atmosphere. I say we give it another try. ;)

so cute! Love the smile!

(and we have that same blue blanket. weird.)

Luke wears socks with his sandals almost everyday. I've told him it's a faux pas but he likes it too much to change. At least we're in UT and he'll fit in, right :)
