random thoughts

Somewhere out in the universe I have an alter-ego.  She has bright red streaks in her hair, a star tattoo, wears thick black liner cat eye style, and has a loft in the city.  If the alter-Whitney had a theme song, this would be it. Whenever I hear it on the radio, I touch that alter-ego for half a heartbeat and for that moment, both she and I are bouncing around our cars in harmony...I in my mini-van and she in a '68 dodge charger.

enjoy.

Flogging Molly-Revolution

On another random note, this particular Whitney, is a horribly mean mommy.  Yes, I took a picture before helping the poor girl out.  I promise we did get it out eventually.

Poor girl is giving smiling her best effort.

Poor girl! That just doesn't look like much fun. Oh, and I think we all have alter egos, I do at least. :)

I love Flogging Molly!! I know I have a alter ego, too!! ;) Mine has blue streaks in dark hair. I would agree with the cat-liner and she wears edgy clothes with fabbity heels. She also has no problem speaking her mind and knows how to wriggle her hips like Shakira...yep...

I love the pictures!! I wish I was clever enough to grab my camera...I might have more laughs throughout my week if I did. Give missy loves from Auntie!! counting down to end of December. Seeing you all might just be a bit more exciting to me than even Christmas. Just sayin'...

Poor Scarlet! Though I have to admit, Jesse and I laughed pretty hard at the pictures. Give all your little ones love from Uncle Jesse and Auntie Hannah. I can't wait to see everyone again. It's only been a little over two months since I've seen you guys, but it feels much longer. Probably because I was too stressed about the wedding to enjoy much of anything...SO glad that's over. :)

(PS: I've been meaning to thank you and the girls for the sweet birthday card. It really made my week. Love you!)

I want to know the thought process behind getting one's hair stuck in a bottle brush. "This must be a fancier version of mommy's brush!"

Poor kid :)

Don't forget to mention that your alter ego has a thick British accent. Or at least I think she does.

I like your alter-ego and her theme song. :) Poor girl, but I'm laughing, guess that makes me a mean mommy too.
