I got a package in the mail today from my sweet, sweet sister, Stephanie. In it, among other things, was some of Ella's old clothes for Scarlett to wear. Scarlett's eagerness was apparent as she promptly stripped down so she could wear one immediately. I thought to myself, "Silly girl. It's impossible for her to wait long for anything."
Then...I pulled out some new fabulous silver sandals for me. As I was stripping down in my bedroom to change into an outfit that matched the new kicks, I realized something.
Guess we know where she gets it, huh?

I love it!
Awww, I love everything about this post. It just makes me smile. :) I love thinking about little Scarli so excited to get into a new outfit (I can relate, as a general rule I would love to wear clothes that I just bought out of the store...but alas, I'm an adult and that's not exactly kosher) and also you slipping into something that looks fab w/ the silver sandals. I have realized Whit, that silver goes w/ nearly all. It's a neutral. :) I'm glad a little 'ol package could bring a little bit of joy into the Lifferth home. :) Oh BTW...I think this is going to post as Cooper and not Steph...just know it is me, not my son. ;)
Interesting insights when those realizations hit. It brings new meaning to the saying that the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. I think in our family though, the tree is not an apple, but some sort of a nut...! ;)
Made me smile...perfect
Ah, I love this, it's just so YOU.
