There was much rejoicing

Once upon a time there was a beautiful store full of fanciful, lacy things for girls to wear and boys to admire. This wonderful, magical place was called Victoria's Secret.

Unfortunately, there were some girls that were left out of the fun. Those distressed damsels had to wear horrid bras that left their girls sad and saggy. They were nursing mommies.

Then one day, a wonderful thing happened. Vicky S decided to open their garter-strapped arms to all and introduced a brand spankin' new line of nursing bras. There was much rejoicing!

...until, the goblins at corporate decided there wasn't enough immediate support of the wonderful new bras and took them away again. The wailing, weeping, and gnashing of teeth could be heard throughout the land {and I don't mean from the teething babies}.

So, the nursing damsels complained and whined and complained some more {they had been taught by the best-they were mothers of toddlers after all}, until one blessed day, they were finally heard! That was the day Victoria's Secret brought back their nursing bra...and that day is now!

You heard me right. Now go get yourself one here!

Yeah, I remember when you posted about this the first time and I raced right over to the mall to pick one up, only to be disappointed because they were only sold online. I never did order one. Maybe with my next kid :)

So, I assume you like the bras? It is so hard to find a good one. I've tried 3 of Wal-Marts and 2 of Motherhood and only one works. And I had to do a little hand sewing of my own on it. And why would anyone make a soft cup nursing bra? Who wants their nipples showing through after you feed your kid? I don't. Thanks for the advice. Never bought a bra that expensive but it may be worth it.

I love the story phrasing. A funny way to make a point, instead of "hey, V.S. sells nursing bras."

YAY! I think they have bad timing though. They introduced them the first time right after I weaned Warner, and now they're introducing them again after I've already been nursing for 7 months and don't have as much of a need for one anymore! :( I'll buy one anyways though, and be prepared for the next baby!

I've concluded I need to spend more time reading your blog. It's so much more entertaining than my own. ^_^ You even have pictures.

That was the best story....EVER!!! Thanks for the heads up. After all, every single nursing mommy has the right to be one hot momma!!
p.s. Phillip just said that ever nursing momma is a hot momma w/nursing breasts. Ha, so true! ;)
