Missing: 1 Lace Tablecloth

So, I've been called to be the enrichment counselor in our Relief Society Presidency (I believe in many wards it's called the 2nd counselor). I'm more than a little nervous, to say the least. They just pulled me from my previous calling as personal progress leader in the Young Women. How exactly does one go from that calling to the other? Not to mention the fact I'm only 23, in a ward full of much older, mature ladies. I don't even own a lace tablecloth...sigh.

I just think the Lord has a sense of humor.

In my book, the fact that you don't own a lace tablecloth is a very good sign. Remember, simplify to magnify. And you'll do great. RS is so much fun! I'm so jealous. Primary is fine, but not exactly intellectually stimulating and it sure is exhausting.

I agree with Ashley. You'll be great and you are totally qualified. Just feed them a lot of art appreciation (think of it as project remove the decorator art). Honestly, I don't even know what my calling is anymore, but I loved being in the RS presidency in my singles ward before Dave and I got married.

I would love to be Enrichment counselor or something to do with Enrichment. I am forever stuck in primary I think, since it has been my calling in one way or another for the last 3 maybe 4 years!

Whiter, you'll be wonderful. The ward needs your wonderfully strong spirit. I also know that you and Annie will probably help connect the younger sisters with the older. You never know what kind of training the Lord is giving you either...:) I know the Lord knows what he is doing. It is definitely a call of inspiration, not desperation.

HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA *breathe* HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!

Whew...ok...now that that is out of my system. Congratulations! Seriously though...you are going to do a fantastic job. No worries. If the Lord can take down the walls of Jericho with a couple of trumpet calls, He can certainly help you do this.

You are going to do awesome! plus it's not always about lace tablecloths...any tablecloth will do really even if it's just a sheet!

You will do great. You have done awesome in every calling that you have had since we were married. I have constantly heard from other leaders how much they like you and how well they think that you do your calling. Things will not change with this calling either. You were called to serve and serve you will.
