So to answer your question about what to do with curly hair. I get Charley's hair wet and then give it an odd fashioned scrunching with the fingers, I then add (yes it is weird) but I add a little baby lotion. I use to always slather the lotion on after her bath because well it makes them smell so good. I just continued doing that (but not as much) It seems to keep the curl. I have just recently also been adding a little gel.
