...who I suspect secretly believes Georgia's hair never gets done any further than a bow clip.
Here's proof I actually DO her hair occasionally. When it comes to whether or not she'll yank it out within the next hour and a half, all bets are off.
I know, I know, the part isn't as Nazi straight as yours are, mom, yet you've got to give me some credit...I'm working with more twist and turns than an Alpine Slide.
(Don't look now, but Georgia's actually pant-less in the pictures. Further confession: there was some major persuasion involved in getting her to even put a shirt on. *sigh* The most ridiculous part is that I've dressed her at least three times already this morning. I attempt to keep my children looking decent, but Georgie's constantly thwarting me with her rampant nudity.)
As further evidence, here's a bonus picture of Scarli all gussied up:
You get no pictures of Ezra because he's refusing to let me do his hair for anything other than church and even then, it's just barely. I foresee a cropped haircut quickly approaching in his future.

I'm impressed with the straightness of the part - but then again I'm the girl who gives up and says that my part is crazy on purpose!
I love your posts. They make me laugh all the time about how similar our kiddos are. Having 3 really magnifies the chaos. Know what I mean?
So my kids don't like having their hair done either but I heard that if you do it more often, they get used to it so that's the path i'm going with at the moment. pin then and spray them and comb it out. I think they'll love it one day soon :)
I for one, am a huge fan of your mothering skills. And your kids are adorable...messy hair and all.
Though I am a huge fan of the non-nudity.
I'm feeling pretty good about my boys right now. I've always thought I wanted a girl so I could do her hair and such, but maybe not. Girls just look like a lot of work... :) But they sure are cute.
Beautiful hair, Miss Georgia! Who needs a pair of pants when you have such a fabulous do? ;) I love the pic of Scarli!!! She is sooo much bigger and older looking than I saw her last. What a doll! I love her large grins...oooh, give your babies loves from Auntie Libby!
Ez, Auntie Libby wants to see a fabulous picture of you, too! Can you pose for one, just for me? (and Jos, Gav, and Gunner, too?)
Ahhh, I love your posts! They always make me smile...you know the kind of smile where you get crinkles around yoru eyes...that kind of smile. :)
Miss Georgia's hair is beautiful!! I loved it...and maybe it was a bit harder to pull out because of the double ponies?? She looks adorable (as always...even when she's mowgli she is adorable...don't let her know that, though ;). I thought your "rampant nudity" line was hilarious, btw. Little Scarli is sooooo cute. I want to eat her right up!! Her hair is beautiful!! I can't wait to hug and kiss on that little girl!! *sigh* Too bad for Ez...well, I mean too bad for me. I wanted to see a pic of him (I'm sure he could care less if he had his pic taken ;). Tell him I love him bunches and bunches and give him a big, fat kiss from Auntie!!
HA!.. love it!.. yep the nudity around my house is crazy, my mom says i didn't have kids i just started a nudist colony, Cameron is currently running around in a diaper and Kevin who was fully dressed for preschool this morning, is surprisingly still wearing the same pants but has lost his shirt (yep they go missing all the time).. just ask him where his shirt went.. he has no clue (and i know i didn't take it off of him!).. as for the hair they have started to "want to get pretty like mommy"... i keep telling them the should want to be handsome like daddy...lol, so they allow gel and a combing before they run off screaming "it hurts it hurts".. although my question is, is it normal to have to hold down your children to get them to brush their teeth? yes i have had to do that.... i am really not looking forward to seeing what the dentist has to say to me...
Thank you! So glad to know I'm not the only one who refuses to give up the hope that her girl will wear fancy hair do's, despite the child's best efforts. Love the style- we'll have to try it!
Great postS! I haven't checked in awhile. I hear you on the hair business - Ashlyn's hair-do rarely makes it through the whole day. It is tiring! And I must THANK YOU for posting that great cape and link for the tutorial. Trent is also going to be a superhero for Halloween and I was going to make a cape but "wing it", and now I don't have to!
Your kids are gorgeous! Thanks again for the bed, the food, and the company. Although short, we had a wonderful time.
We did make it to the museum and Aaron was in art heaven. Thanks for making his day!
I love those curls. Pant less and hair disheveled sounds like they know how to live.
Oh my, my, my.... Your post describes my children exactly. They are absolutely irritating to dress and keep looking nice! Maybe your kids are proof that mine aren't abnormal! (But then again, is it heredity??)
Cute kids! Wish they lived closer!
My kids are always semi-nude, too! :D Do yours escape outside in the nude too? Mine do. They have no shame. Oh, and there's a reason my Logan has such short hair, he hates me messing with it! Luckily, Caleb's hair is just pretty. Too bad he's not a girl.
Eeeee!! (that a squeal of delight) I love your new background...I want to steal it!!
Hi, I found your blog through Kristin. :) I really like it and you've got a lot of cute things to say! :) Just thought I'd say hi!
I have to laugh every time I see Scarlett's adorable smile. You have cute kiddos! And I know what you mean with the hair. Addi's trademark do is hair swept to the side with my fingers and a barrette to hold it out of her face. It's a special occasion if she gets pigtails.
