trees and planes and spit-up...oh my!

On Monday evening for Family Home Evening we went to the Crown Center to see their giant Christmas tree, gawk at the gingerbread village, and play on the Christmas playground (a bunch of kid-size wooden vehicles and buildings...on top of concrete.  Here in the midwest we don't care about liability too much).  It's a must-do for us every December and oh-so-much fun (and free!).  Here's the proof:

The 100-ft Mayor's Christmas Tree
(one of the tallest in the nation)

Ezra flying through the air with the greatest of ease.

The resident homeless person
(if that hat looks familiar, it's because it is)

Little Miss Sunshine
(who, incidentally, is wearing a size 12 month hat)
The flight crew

 The faces behind the camera.

In other news...

As a 4 kid-veteran momma, all of which have had reflux, I think it's fair to say...

I am so. over. spit-up.

That is all :)

Love, loved you post. Especially G's homeless persona. Ezzie's fighter guns were hilarious, as well. Sweet, little impish Scarli's head...maybe it will grow three sizes this Christmas?? Ick, ick, spit up is no fun!! At least you get to put those cute burp cloths into some major use... ;)

you are SOOO funny! I love your blog! Everytime you have me just giggling like a little kid, and Mitch says, "It's the funny blog again, isn't it!" Yep, honey, you know me well :o) I'm so sorry about the reflux for all four! You poor girl! I love how you stopped to take a picture :o) And how happy he looks!

Hmm, looks kinda like rice cereal to me. All you need is one of Steph's dogs and your floors will be as clean as a whistle...
Well, I just saying... :)

First off-that town center looks fabulously merry and bright! Love it.
Secondly-that spit up is giving me hellacious flashbacks... my first two had reflux bad. It's disturbing how quickly it becomes a source of entertainment for them-- "oh goody! more spit-up to fill the back of my dumptruck..." or whatever other use to fill their fancy. Bleck. I do not miss it!!

What a cute little Christmas Village...thing. And yuck about the spit up! Jordan and Aiden both had acid reflux as well. Aiden still does a bit. Hope you guys have a Merry Christmas!
