Sunbeam: a beam or ray of sunlight

I have lots of catching up to do, both within the blogosphere and without, but I couldn't miss the chance to share my little ray of sunshine. Scarlett didn't have to wait until her first day of primary to be a ray of sunshine...she's been lighting up our home from the very beginning.  We love our Little Miss and are so very, very, very happy she's part of our family!

Jesus wants me for a sunbeam
To shine for Him each day
In every way try to please Him
At home, as school, at play.

 A sunbeam, a sunbeam,
Jesus wants me for a sunbeam.
A sunbeam, a sunbeam
I'll be a sunbeam for Him.

That's all for now, folks.  We just got back from Oklahoma late last night and then we're headed out of town again on Thursday so I'm not sure if I'll have a chance to post a catch-up, but I'm going to try my dardest to get one done!  Have a wonderful Sunday!

ps-no, I'm not skipping church just 'cause.  Ezra woke up throwing up  with a stomach bug...his second in as many weeks.  boo! to that!

pps-Scarlett went into Sunbeams a week late as we were out of town since my little brother, Mack, came home from his Roseville, California LDS mission.

She is so stinking cute!!! I think I'm going to have to pull this post up about....a billion times. I am having some major niecie and nephew withdrawals. Even though I can't feel her, seeing and hearing comes in a nice second. ;)

She is adorable and I love her hair. Yay for return missionaries and boo to stomach bugs. I swear we have passed around every stinkin' virus there is this winter.

She is such a doll. I miss having her in nursery. I can't believe she is a Sunbeam already! Did Spencer tell you how she was twirling around in Sacrament and fell and bonked her head? It was the cutest and saddest thing. She was so excited and being so cute and then BANG! He was quick to scoop her up and got her out of there before she even really started to cry. What a good dad!
