Poor little man was tired and grumpy. He was not pleased at all. Luckily he had cheered up by the time we hit the actual pumpkin patch.

Scarlett's attempt at smiling with wet panties. Poor girl had an accident when she got stuck in the middle of the maze. Luckily Daddy had a hand warmer that we put it down her tights. (I know, I know, it sounds all sorts of odd, but it kept the cold away)
(ps-if that hat looks familiar...it's because it is. It's a 6-12 mo hat that she's worn pretty much her entire life. true story.)

Ezra took Oak on his first big kid slide. I was worried it'd scare him to death but the boy, in true Lifferth fashion, loved every exhilarating second of it.

Oh Whitney, I love that you are so dedicated about your pumpkin patch post. and honestly I love that you just keep posting (I want you to know that even if I don't comment, I read every post you write. Lots of blogs I skim. But yours-I read). I miss those kiddos! While I was reading this post I was whining about how I miss them and Ben threw out the idea of visiting you guys for Christmas. Most likely won't happen...but a lovely thought nonetheless.
Sorry. I wrote all of that and really all I wanted to say is that you could not have named Oak more appropriately. Your other kids are so Lifferth-y. But Oak is completely you in his looks. I love it! Congrats on finally getting your genes through ;)
Oh, look! One of the homless tire swing kids wants to go home with you ;) I love that your kids look just like mine - tonight E was dancing to the songs in the Muppet movie wearing a longsleeved blues clues shirt (a few sizes too big), striped jammie shorts, pink fluffy eskimo boots complete with pompoms, gloves and a hair band. I wish I had snapped a photo.
How in the world is Ezra over 4 ft tall?? Yeesh. Its been faar too long since we saw each other. Blast living on opposite ends of the country.
That was seriously fabulous!! I loved looking back on the kiddos and see how much they grow from year to year. They grew quite a bit in height!! They're still adorable every year. :) I had to laugh about the hand warmer incident. Poor Scarli. Georgia looked so beautiful (as did Scrali) and grown-up in her "How Tall?" pics. I loved the kids' selection on their pumpkins...their personalities shined through their choices. So cute. Also, you are beautiful. Those pics of you...boom, chicka, wa, wa. You're simply beautiful. I also can't believe how much Okie as grown since the last time you visited. I loved seeing him carry his own pumpkin. What a proud boy. He wants to be so big like his siblings. He sure works at growing up...really hard. :) I love you and I kept thinking how much fun it would be to go together. We have yet to visit our pumpkin patch...communal living--now that's where it's at.
Oh how fun! I totally love this! I really need to get our family into some fun traditions. :) When we settle I guess. :) You family is so cute and getting so big. Hope you are enjoying this wonderul fall season!

Oh, I love these posts! I love the absolutely fally-ness of them, I love seeing your littles in their coats, hats and mittens and I adore seeing their darling grins! Oooh, I just want to squeeze Oakie's little cheeks! I had to laugh at Scarli's hat...snow hats and infant socks...definitely items of clothing I make my children wear forever. :) I loved their choices of pumpkins, they really fit their personalities. You are freakin' cute! Uggh, how can a mamma of four be so darling...not fair...why did you take all the good genes :\
